My wife and I own J and T Bartending Inc. We have worked numerous weddings, parties and events with Carefree Catering. There are several reasons that I would strongly recommend them. They are very easy to work with, they always have plenty of staff ready to serve you and last but certainly not least their food is absolutly wonderful. If you are are ever in need of a great, affordable caterer then Gary and Carol is who you need to call.

When talking to a caterer, find out what other products and services are included. We at Carefree include many items that other caterers charge extra for. Be wary of a caterer that has a low price for a meal but  will "nickel and dime you to death" for things such as china, linens, skirting and stainless flatware.

Carefree has a design consultant that will work with the bridal party to coordinate our decor and color scheme with yours. Our buffet, gift and cake tables will be decorated with draping and flowers to compliment the look and feel of your wedding. This is an included service.

Brides should look for caterers that have working relationships with other vendors such as D-J's, Bartenders, Florists and Cake Decorators. Chances are very good that if we would recommend them, they are reputable.

Ask the caterer to keep to your budget. "Sticker shock" is something we try to avoid.

Ask if the "Cake Cutting and Service" is included or if is it extra.

Ask if centerpieces are included. Carefree has a wide range of centerpieces that can be customized to your liking. They are, of course, free for you to use.

Confirm that the caterer you select is licensed and insured. There are many unlicensed people out there claiming to be "caterers". To be a caterer in Florida, you need 5 licenses: State, County, City, Food Handler and Food Manager. If they don't have them, they are not legal.

Most importantly, ask for references. We build a working relationship with the Bride, Groom and their families so that nothing is left to chance. A happy Bride is our top priority and one that will refer us to her friends.
