Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
Glass Slipper Cakery offers private tastings to our clients. We provide 3 cake and filling combinations. If a client has a picture of the design in mind, we will create a mini-replica of that cake for the tasting.
Glass Slipper Cakery also has our very own IN HOUSE Floral Designer! A FLORAL CONSULTATION can be scheduled in conjunction with the tasting.
What are your tasting hours?
Tasting hours are scheduled on Mondays thru Wednesdays between 10am to 8pm.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Our delicious cakes are priced by the slice and start at $4.00 per serving. Basic cupcakes start at $2.50 and sold by the dozen. Pricing begins to increase depending on the complexity of the design.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Yes, if the clients would like to freeze the cake. Glass Slipper Cakery also offers vouchers to our clients for a FRESH 6" mini-replica cake from their wedding day on their anniversary!
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
Our cakes are 100% custom to suit our client's occassion. The sky is the limit at Glass Slipper Cakery! We also encourage our clients to bring in photos of cakes that they are interested in.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
Our cakes are baked from scratch using ONLY the freshest ingredients.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
Freshness and quality are what a reflection our high standards. Cakes are baked 24 hours prior to the event.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
Our client's wedding day is our #1 concern. With that in mind, we schedule NO MORE THAN 3 cakes per weekend. (1 per day- Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
Yes! If a client has chosen our in-house floral designer OR a florist of their choice, we are happy to work with them. Placement of the flowers on our cakes are handled ONLY by Glass Slipper Cakery due to health and saftey reasons.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
We have an array of items that are available for rent. We require a $50 deposit for the items and a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE rental charge. Rented items are due back within 4 days of the event.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Yes, we offer delivery and set-up service. Our delivery/set-up charges start at $25 per 15 miles.
