What is your usual attire?
Depending on the event and what you prefer, usually a tuxedo (or a suit and tie for less formal events).
How many other DJs do you work with?
JC Entertainment has only one DJ. Your event is our number one priority!
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Most receptions require at least three hours for the grand entrance, cake cutting, etc., though most couples choose five or six hours for events, dinner, and dancing. If you are not sure how many hours you would like, a minimum payment for three hours is acceptable. Overtime may be paid that evening.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We will arrive two to three hours before your event. This allows us to do a sound and light check and meet with coordinators of the event and assures that music is playing when the very first guest arrives. We provide our own tables and professional black table skirting.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Our formal wedding setup (tables, digital players, light truss, speakers, etc.) requires approximately 10 feet across in width, though we can fit into a smaller area if needed.
