Excellent dj, very easy to work with, Highly recommend to everyone!!!!!
Marc Burgess Productions always strives to be an industry leader with the latest sound equipment and lighting systems. But technology takes a back seat to the level of professionally and personality. I know I will always have great footage from an event that they DJ.
Marc is wonderful to work with--extremely professional and accommodating. All my experiences with Marc have been very positive.
We have known Marc Burgess for years and he is VERY good at what he does. Definitely a pro!!

Describe your DJ style:
Our DJs can vary their styles based on what you want. It is your wedding and it will be done your way.

What is your usual attire?
This is up to you. Unless you request otherwise, we will be in a tux but being in Florida we have done some more informal receptions and our attire would reflect your wishes.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
It is not required that you provide it, but if you have the song on CD, we would be glad to play it. If we can get the song through one of the Legal download sites like Napster or Itunes we will be glad to do so. But please do not ask us to illegally download any music. It's not worth the risk to our company.

Do you bring your own equipment?
Absolutely.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We typically arrive at the venue an hour before start time, 90 minutes if we are also doing the ceremony. A standard 6 foot banquet table is required that will be close to the dance floor and electricity.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Our Disc Jockeys are also professionally trained masters of ceremonies. There have been occasions when a couple would like to honor one of their guests by having them Emcee the reception. If that is the case, we will work with your guest to give you the reception you want.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, that is one of the advantages of our company. All of our DJs are certified through the FAME DJ School so there is a base of knowledge that everyone on our staff shares.

What is your overtime rate?
$75 per half hour

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We are available for travel and the fees would vary based on time and distance.

Tips and Advice

When choosing which DJ company you are going to hire ask these questions:

Is the company a licensed business?

Does the company carry liability insurance?

Is the company a member of a national or local DJ or Wedding Association?

How are their DJs trained?

Will the DJ work with the other professionals hired for the day of your wedding to make everyone's job easier?

Does the company accept the final payment at the end of the reception, AFTER services have been rendered and you have had fun?
