Q: Why do I need a video of my wedding?
A: Because your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event and a video captures this special moment in a way that photos and memories cannot. Watching a video is the perfect way to remember your wedding day, from the walk down the aisle through the cake cutting. Memories can fade, but a DVD is something you can hold onto forever. We think every wedding should have a videographer!

Q: Okay, so my video is really important. Why should I trust Valroe Videography?
A: We are experienced and we know how to capture the best moments while staying out of the way. Our expert staff of videographers are all film school graduates with many years experience behind the camera. Most importantly, Valroe videographers respect your guests and the overall harmony of your wedding day above everything else. There are several testimonies on our website that provide customer reactions and opinions.

Q: What kind of style do you use? I don’t want the typical cheesy wedding video.
A: We don’t use star wipes or lens flares, but we do capture and edit every event in a unique, personalized way. If your reception is small and personal, your video will reflect that atmosphere. If you have a large, grand wedding, we love to show your friends and family having a great time.

Q: Maybe I am interested in a wedding video, but do I have to buy an expensive package full of stuff I don’t need like three cameras, photo slideshows and montages?
A: Not at all! Our standard package is designed to give you everything you need without overcharging for extras you don’t want. The standard package is a comprehensive bundle that strips away all unnecessary features, although we will work closely with you to tailor any package however you'd like. Add-ons are negotiable, so if you want three cameras, or a custom-made slideshow, we do that, too!

Q: What’s included in the standard package?
A: Two videographers taping up to one hour before your event using three chip digital camcorders and two fully-edited DVDs of your event with custom menus and chapters.

Q: Edited footage is included in the package? Really?
A: Yes. Unlike most other videography companies, you don’t have to pay extra for us to edit your raw footage into a 60-90 minute DVD. Our knowledgeable editors will cut together a movie that follows your wedding from start to finish.

Q: What if I wanted extra special features like photo slideshows or HD footage? Do you offer any additional options?
A: Yes we do! We have many additional features separate from the standard package, all of which vary in price and may be purchased “ala carte”

Q: What kind of extras do you offer?
A: High Definition (HD) recording, custom Photo Memory slideshows using your pictures, three camcorder shoots, all your raw footage on an external hard drive, and more! Check out our website for detailed descriptions of our extra options.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use to videotape weddings?
A: We shoot with professional-grade camcorders: the Panasonic DVX100 and a Canon XH-H1. We also use a Samson wireless lavalier mic to record your ceremony’s audio with crystal clear quality.

Q: My reception will have low lighting. Will that be a problem?
A: We are fully equipped to handle low lighting situations. Both of our cameras are mounted with state-of-the-art Sima LED lights. They are really bright!

Q: How long does it take to get my DVD?
A: 8-12 weeks, sometimes quicker depending on volume.

Q: Do you shoot anything besides weddings?
A: We shoot any event, not just weddings. Bar/bat mitzvahs, engagements, baby showers, school plays, you name it. Call us for more information on booking special events.

Q: What’s your travel radius?
A: We are based in Philadelphia and typically serve the Greater Philadelphia area, including New Jersey and Delaware, but we are definitely willing to travel. We have filmed weddings at the Jersey Shore and have an upcoming wedding in Ohio.

Q: Aren’t videographers usually super expensive?
A: Usually yes, but we are competitively priced without sacrificing quality. Call or email today for price requests.

Q: How do I book Valroe Videography for my event?
A: We require a $100 deposit along with our signed contract, which we’d be happy to mail you.
